About Us
We began our journey of detailing when we first turned sixteen and discovered the marvelous world of automobile ownership. From the first hand-wash and wax, it was love at first shine. Within months we were cleaning friends and family member’s cars and were on our way to living our dream-Entrepreneurship within the automobile industry. It was in May of 2017 that we created our business in southwest Michigan, and we experienced great results. After over a year in the industry we moved to Murfreesboro to pursue our education at MTSU. After building and growing relationships with clients for the past three years we are excited to continue growing and servicing our amazing clients here in the heart of Tennessee.

Gavin Luthringer
Co-Founder
"My family has been in the car wash business for over 30 years. Growing up I always loved seeing the clean cars and happy customers, but I wanted to take it a step further. When I started to learn about detailing, I knew it was the perfect industry for me and I have loved the in depth satisfaction of it ever since. The relationships I've made in this business have been my favorite part. When not perfecting cars you can find me on horseback, hunting and fishing, or spending time with my friends and family."
Colin Rafferty
Co-Founder
"Growing up in Southwest Michigan with the snow and cold taught me a lot about the importance of keeping your vehicle in perfect condition, no matter the elements. CGI Detailing was a way for me to convey this message of importance to others, while providing excellent service and care. The people are what make this industry and career the best in the world. When not behind the buffer, you can find me playing games with friends, going to car meets, and riding my bike around Tennessee."

"I grew up in a small town in Eastern Tennessee before moving to Murfreesboro in 2018 to attend Middle Tennessee State University. I've always had a deep passion for muscle cars, I started helping Gavin and Colin part time in 2019. Since then, I have grown my detailing and customer service skills. I am most excited to be apart of a growing company where I am valued. I'm looking forward to all of the adventures that await us."
